Professional oboist and reed-maker, Kristin Kall has performed in concerts across North America, South America, Africa and Europe.

At the age of 20, Kristin was appointed a one-year position as second oboe the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. She has since performed with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, American Composers Orchestra, New World Symphony, Long Island Philharmonic, Westchester Philharmonic, and many others. As a result of winning several competitions, Kristin has also appeared as a soloist with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and the Rapides Symphony Orchestra.

Included in her long history of oboe and English horn performance, Kristin has participated in several prestigious music festivals. Among them, the Caramoor Festival, the White Light Festival in Lincoln Center, YOA Orchestra of the Americas in Chile, Ticino Musica in Switzerland, AIMS in Austria, Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada, Spoleto Festival USA, Sarasota Music Festival and the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival.

Kristin received her bachelor's degree from Rice University and a Master of Music degree and Artist Diploma from Yale University. She is currently a Fellow at the New World Symphony. Former teachers include Stephen Taylor, Robert Atherholt, and Jane Gabka. In her spare time, Kristin enjoys cycling, camping, hiking, playing the classical guitar and salsa-dancing.
